                                                    Membership Application

The Colington Harbour Yacht and Racquet Club, Inc. (CHR&RC) is an organization of the Colington Harbour Association, Inc. and is operated as a private club with facilities available on a membership basis only with an initiation fee and yearly dues levied.  The club is recognized as a non-profit independent entity of the Association and must comply in all respects with the original Covenants, or future revisions thereof, which decree the responsibility and management of its clubhouse, tennis court, swimming pool and grounds immediately adjacent to these areas to the club for the persons owning property in Colington Harbour.  The club is managed in accordance with its Declaration of Bylaws.  All Association assessments must be current to be considered for membership or renewal of that membership.  There is a CHY&R Club initiation fee of $100.00 for those renewing their membership after a lapse or those joining the club for the first time.  Annual membership dues are as follows:

                                                  Full Family Membership $200          

Available to a property owner in good standing with the Association and to the family members residing with that member according to the guidelines outlined in the Bylaws. According to the Bylaws, there are instances where an additional fee of $100 is required for the inclusion of extended members of the family.

                                                  Full Individual Membership $180

Available to a single, widowed, or divorced individual property owner in Colington Harbour in good standing with the Association.  No other family or dependents may be residing with them to qualify for this membership.

                                                   Associate Membership $200

Available to annual residents/tenants who ARE NOT property owners but live in the neighborhood year round.  ALL associate members must pay the equivalent of a full family membership.

September 1 through December 31                 half price

*January 1 through June 1                               Individual  $225   Family/Associate  $250

            *this membership goes through May of the following year  (18 months)

Membership dues are rendered May 1 of each year.  They are due by June 1.  If they are not paid or postmarked by June 1 of each year, and/or Association assessments are not current, a new initiation fee may be levied in order to renew the membership.
