Lynn moved to the Outer Banks from Knoxville, TN, in 2000. While in Knoxville, she was involved in her neighborhood swim club. After moving to Colington Harbour, she became interested in community activities and decided to run for the Board of Directors in 2003. She was elected and served as vice-president for two years. She is now serving as the president of the Yacht and Racquet Club.

Husband Rick and I have lived together in Colington Harbour since 1995, I moved to the Outer Banks in 1968. Rick and I own and operate Outer Banks Landscaping and Charlene's Grill, Deli & Groceries on Colington rd. Together Rick and I have donated countless hours beautifying the sound side park, operating the fuel dock for 8 years, assisting at the pool, running the Wednesday night cookouts, and more! In 2004, we won the president's Award, and I stepped in gladly when asked to be a board member that same year. In June of 2005, I was elected to serve on the Board and currently serve as CHA Liaison to the CHY & RC. Hobbies include working in my garden, boating and having fun with my family.
